My Side Hustle Club publishes practical information for people building additional income, primarily in the United States. This policy explains how we research, produce, fund and correct our content.
Our standards
We aim for content that is useful, understandable and honest about uncertainty. We do not promise guaranteed earnings or present individual success stories as typical results. Readers are responsible for checking the laws, licences, taxes, costs and risks that apply to their own circumstances.
Research and sourcing
- Important claims should be supported by authoritative or first-party sources wherever reasonably possible.
- Prices and product features are checked at the time of research. An article should state the date of any time-sensitive verification.
- We distinguish reported facts, estimates and editorial opinion.
- Quoted or paraphrased material is attributed, and we link to useful original sources where possible.
Reviews and recommendations
We distinguish direct hands-on testing from research-based assessment. We only say that we tested, used or purchased something when that is true. Research-based reviews may consider official product information, demonstrations, independent evidence, pricing, customer support information and credible user feedback.
Affiliate commission rates do not determine the verdict. Sponsored placements and gifted access are labelled clearly. A provider may be given a fair opportunity to correct a factual error, but does not receive approval rights over our independent conclusions.
AI, automation and bylines
We use automated and AI-assisted tools for functions that may include topic discovery, research organisation, drafting, editing, quality checks, image creation and publishing. Some articles may be published automatically after structured checks, followed by periodic human audits. Neon Learning Ltd remains responsible for the published result.
A byline may identify an individual contributor or a recurring editorial persona with a defined subject focus and style. A persona creates consistency for readers; it is not a claim that one named person personally carried out every activity described. The article itself should state clearly when a product was directly tested and by whom.
Illustrative images may be AI-generated. Photographs may be original, supplied by a provider or used under licence. We do not present a generated illustration as documentary evidence of a real event or test.
Article labels
- Guide: practical educational content.
- News: a time-sensitive report based on identified sources.
- Review: an evaluation, labelled as hands-on or research-based where relevant.
- Opinion: analysis or a viewpoint rather than a neutral report.
- Sponsored: content or placement paid for or materially supported by a commercial partner.
Corrections and updates
If we identify a material error, we correct it promptly. Substantial corrections or changes to the conclusion should be noted in the article with the date and a brief explanation. Routine edits for spelling, clarity, links or formatting may be made without a correction note.
To report an error, email enquiries@neonlearning.co.uk with the article URL and the information that should be checked.
Commercial independence
The site may earn money through advertising, affiliate links, memberships and commercial partnerships. These relationships are disclosed and do not entitle a partner to favourable coverage. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
